Late Friday night, Iranian officials made a threat that made several things very clear.
Senior military officials for Iran openly threatened 35 American targets.
These targets include many of our ships currently protecting the Strait of Hormuz.
Now We Know
When the attack against General Soleimani was conducted, President Trump stated that he did this to avoid a war.
Intelligence had suggested that massive and imminent attacks were about to be carried out by Iran.
The strike against Soleimani was a pre-emptive strike to let Iran know, nobody is safe and we can take out any of you at any time.
Trump even stated afterward that he does not want a war with Iran, but the United States will not be pushed around or threatened.
After the attack, the Iranians all but confirmed our Defense Department’s intelligence that an imminent attack was about to be carried out.
The Iranians stated that they have 35 American targets identified, with many of these targets being our “destroyers and warships” near the Persian Gulf.
The threat was issued by Revolutionary Guards Commander General Gholamali Abuhamzeh.
The Threat
The Iranians have now set the table for this conflict to get ramped up significantly.
Abuhamzeh stated, “The Strait of Hormuz is a vital point for the West and a large number of American destroyers and warships cross there.
“Vital American targets in the region have been identified by Iran since long time ago … some 35 U.S. targets in the region, as well as Tel Aviv, are within our reach.”
This is going to play right into the narrative that Democrats are trying to push, but the fact is these attacks were already planned.
If they do decide to carry out these plans, Dems will want to blame the attacks on Trump.
However, the State Department earlier had stated, “General Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region.
“The United States will continue to take all necessary action to protect our people and our interests wherever they are around the world.”
Even after Iran made these threats, Rep. Ilhan Omar has openly defended the terrorist nation and asked other Democrats to join her cause.
Oddly enough, as people like Omar are shredding Trump and taking up for Iran, Iranian citizens that had to live under the terror of Soleimani are literally dancing in the streets over his death.
That tells you just about all you need to know about today’s Democrat party.
