Democrats right now are going absolutely ballistic over Trump wanting to put a new Justice on the Supreme Court to replace Ginsburg.
Because Obama was blocked from making his appointment in 2016 after the death of Justice Scalia, they say it is only fair that Trump gets blocked.
There are even a few Republicans using the same argument.
The sad reality, however, is that these individuals know little about the history of this country and more specifically, the history of Supreme Court nominations in an election year.
This was a history lesson Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was all too happy to teach to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.
That should put this debate to bet, but it won’t.
Sadly, most media outlets are already calling the Republicans hypocritical while at the same time ignoring how Dems reacted in 2016 as well as this history.
