Texas ICE Offices Attacked by Gunfire

Democrats have been quick to blame Trump’s rhetoric for hate crimes and mass shootings, yet they are not taking the blame for the impact their own words are having.

On Tuesday morning, ICE offices in San Antonio were attacked with a wave of gunfire, which ICE officials are blaming on political rhetoric against the agency.

Early Morning Attack

According to local news outlets, the attack started around 3 a.m. at the facility near Brookhaven Drive.

There was reportedly a second attack at a different facility right around the same time.

Shots were fired, targeting two floors of an office building where ICE officials work.

Chris Combs, the FBI Special Agent in Charge stated, “I don’t think there’s a question that they knew which floors the ICE offices were.

“All of the shots that we have found are on the floors where ICE had offices.

“This is no question a very targeted attack.

“It’s not a secret facility, you can go online, it’s out there.

“So they did some research, they knew what floors ICE was on, they knew what buildings they were in and they hit those.

“To be honest with you, I’m not sure they thought anyone was in the building, which concerns me.

“If this was an act of protest or a political statement, maybe they thought the building was empty.

“But you never know when a building is empty, right?”

Daniel Bible, the San Antonio ICE Field Office Director, stated, “This attack at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Field Office in San Antonio is completely without justification.

“Political rhetoric and misinformation that various politicians, media outlets and activist groups recklessly disseminate to the American people regarding the ICE mission only serve to further encourage these violent acts.

“ICE officers put their lives on the line each and every day to keep our communities safe.

“This disturbing public discourse shrouds our critical law enforcement function and unnecessarily puts our officers’ safety at risk.”

More Attacks

Attacks such as this were reported happening in other locations as well, such as the ICE offices in Broward County, FLA.

Threats have been made against ICE officials and a general contracting group used by the local ICE office called GEO Group.

The former General Counsel for the company was threatened by a protestor, who stated, “We know where all your children live throughout the country … John Bulfin you have kids in [bleeped out], you have kids in [bleeped out],” the protester yelled. “We know everything about you and you won’t just be seeing us here.”

Some of the threats by other protestors were:

“We know where you sleep at night.”

“We know what kind of dog food you buy your dogs.”

“We’re not actually joking,” the protestor then reportedly yelled out Bulfin’s address before saying, “John Bulfin you go to [bleeped out], you go to church on [bleeped out], you live on [bleeped out] the road. We are not joking.”

There is only one side of the aisle knocking ICE, and it surely is not Republicans.

Several members of The Squad have openly vilified the agency and called for its abolishment.

Clearly, their supporters are taking their words to heart.
