Chuck Todd is one of the many media members that believe Russia is the only country that meddles in elections.
With Trump having said that Ukraine did the same type of meddling, Todd wanted clarification from Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) on the matter.
It would be an interview he would soon regret.

Honestly, there are not many people on the planet that are going to win a debate with Ted Cruz.
On this particular subject, there is little doubt, although the media and Democrats would have you believe otherwise.

Election Meddling
First and foremost, let’s be clear about meddling in an election and actually impacting the outcome of the election.
For the record, nobody is debating that Russia tried to hack our election.
This is something they and a host of other countries have been doing for decades.
Among the countries suspected are, of course, Russia, China, and yes, Ukraine.
And, I hate to break it to you, but while our government may not admit it, the United States has been influencing elections for decades, so we are not innocent on this front in any regard.
However, they did NOT impact the outcome of the election.
That is where the media seems to get it wrong these days.
They want to delegitimize Trump’s presidency when it has been proven the election system itself was never infiltrated and votes were never changed.
As far as foreign ads being placed and trolls, it happens EVERY year.
Why It Won’t Die Down
The reason this will not and probably will never go away is because Dems are already trying to taint the outcome of the 2020 election.
If you listened to the horde when they announced the impeachment articles, Schiff clearly put the integrity of the 2020 election in everyone’s mind.
They act as though Trump is opening up our election system to interference but that is not happening in any way, shape, or form right now.
Sooner or later, Dems and the media will get over the 2016 election but my best guess is that it will not happen until well after January 20, 2025, when Trump finally walks out of the White House for the final time.
