Top Health Officials Refute Woodward and Politico Claims Against Trump Adminstration

Over the last two weeks, several damaging stories have been done on Trump.

First, it was Woodward’s book, “Rage,” then Politico piled on with a scathing report about the possible altering of COVID-19 data, all of which is now being refuted by top health officials.

The Woodward book was bad enough, but the Politico report has the potential to be far more damaging.

The report, which broke on Friday, claimed that political appointees assigned to Health and Human Services were requesting to review and sometimes even altering weekly COVID-19 reports.

According to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Alex Azar, as well as the Director of the CDC, that report is 100 percent false.

CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield stated, “President Trump has sought the counsel of the White House task force doctors throughout the COVID-19 response.

“He has relied on the data and science, presented to him at that time, to make decisive decisions to protect the health and safety of the American people.”
