A new book on Donald Trump’s presidency is about to stoke the fires of discord between Republicans and Democrats even more than they already are.
In Doug Wead’s new book, “Inside Trump’s White House: The Real Story of His Presidency,” the polarizing President accuses the Obama administration and the former president himself of treason.
They Spied on Me!
Trump has maintained even before being elected that Obama was using the tools at his disposal to try to disrupt his campaign.
In the book, Trump states, “The interesting thing out of all of this is that we caught them spying on the election.
“They were spying on my campaign.
“So you know? What is that all about?
“I have never ever said this, but truth is, they got caught spying. They were spying,”
On being able to operate under such conditions, Trump stated, “Anybody else would be unable to function under the kind of pressure and distraction I had.
“They couldn’t get anything done.
“No other president should ever have to go through this.
“But understand, there was no collusion.
“They would have had to make something up.”
Problems for Obama Officials
At the time Trump made those initial observations, he was ridiculed by Democrats and liberals alike.
Well, nobody is laughing now.
Earlier this week, Attorney General William Barr announced the Russian collusion origins investigation being conducted by U.S. Attorney Durham is now considered a criminal investigation.
This means there is likely evidence some very high-ranking Obama officials were illegally using government agencies to discredit Donald Trump and undermine his presidency.
This could very much impact the candidacy of Joe Biden, as he clearly would have been involved in such actions.
Geralda Rivera even went so far as to say this could lead all the way up to Barack Obama himself.
So, once again, the administration that never had a whisper of a scandal may end up having its officials led out of their homes in handcuffs when all is said and done.
