The clock may be ticking on the Trump administration, but Trump is clearly not giving up on his fight against the liberal agenda that costs taxpayers.
Earlier this week, the Trump administration announced sanctions against California for federal funding.
The move was made due to what the administration believes are “illegal” mandates requiring health care plans in the state to cover the cost of abortions.
No Soup for You!
The measure was announced by HHS Secretary Alex Azar, who stated that $200 million in federal aid will be withheld due to the state’s policy of “illegally mandating that all health care plans subject to regulation by the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) cover abortion without exclusion or limitation.”
Needless to say, Governor Newsom was not happy…
