Trump and Impeachment Legal Team Part Ways

There has been a major shakeup on Trump’s impeachment representation only one week before the impeachment is scheduled to start.

According to new reports, attorneys Butch Bowers and Deborah Barbier and former federal prosecutors Greg Harris, Johnny Gasser, and Josh Howard have all left Trump’s legal team.

It is believed that Trump and his attorneys did not see eye-to-eye on the best path regarding his defense.

Trump reportedly wants to continue to push election fraud but his attorneys did not agree that would be the best approach.

The former president is obviously expected to add more attorneys to his team this week.

Democrat Attack

Several reports broke late in the week that Democrats are planning to use an emotionally charged defense to win this impeachment trial.

That is about all they have to go on, however, as most of the evidence shows that planning for the riot has been going on for days or weeks, as well as a video report of pipe bombs allegedly being set the night before the riot.

It is going to be very hard for Democrats to find 17 Republicans willing to convict, especially after seeing all but five Republican Senators back Senator Rand Paul’s (R-KY) effort to have the impeachment outright dismissed for being unconstitutional in nature.
