Trump Campaign Manager: 300,000 Requests for Upcoming Trump Rally

President Trump is ready to hit the campaign trail again, but will anyone show up for his rallies?

If the early signs from Tulsa are any indication, Trump will once again by filling arenas with Americans that hope he can bring this country back from the COVID-19 pandemic.

No Problem

There was widespread speculation that Trump would not be able to hold his MAGA-style rallies during this year’s campaign season.

Most states are still in Phase 2 of reopening, which means gatherings above 25 people are not permitted.

While many Democrat states are still lagging, conservative states that Trump dominated in 2016 are pushing right through to reopen and allow larger and larger gatherings.

Oklahoma is one such state, and it will also be the site of Trump’s first big rally during the new election season.

If anyone thought Trump’s supporters would be hesitant to be in such close proximity to other Trump supporters, they would be sadly mistaken, as more than 300,000 people have already applied for passes to the event…

How This All Plays Out

Many of the states that were overrun by the George Floyd protests are seeing a significant jump in hospitalizations and positive tests for COVID-19.

That trend is only being increased more by states that are further along in reopening.

There is a concern as to how this will impact the campaign season, but Trump supporters don’t seem to care.

Dems are going to attack Trump for these rallies, make no mistake about that.

The attacks are only going to be exacerbated by the fact anyone attending the rally has to agree not to told the location, the campaign, or President Trump liable if they contract the virus and it is traced back to their attendance to the rally.

The disclaimer on the application for tickets states, “By attending the Rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; BOK Center; ASM Global; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.”

Trump has no other choice, though, as he is getting killed in recent polls and needs to get back on the big stage to promote his re-election.

Trump has to force Joe Biden to come out from hiding and these rallies will more or less force Biden to start appearing in public and holding his own rallies.

My best guess is that Biden will hold some outdoor rallies in response with social distancing in place, but the difference in appearance will be noticeable.

How that all plays out, though, will not be known until election day, when America decides if Joe Biden or Donald Trump is the man to occupy the White House for the next four years.
