Trump Drops GA Lawsuit, Condemns Capitol Riots

Trump has officially ended his fight to overturn the election.

After the riot at the Capitol, it was a much more somber Trump that addressed the nation.

The President stated, “Emotions are high now, but tempers must be cooled and calm restored.

“We must get on with the business of America. My campaign rigorously pursued every legal avenue to contest the election results.

“My only goal was to ensure the integrity of the vote.

“My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition.

“This moment now calls for healing and reconciliation.”

Additionally, Trump’s campaign team dropped its GA lawsuits to overturn the election outcome.

It would appear as though Trump now just wants to put this all behind everyone to allow the country to move forward.

Honestly, though, it is tough to imagine that happening, because Democrats are out for blood right now.

This may all soon settle down, but it is tough to imagine Democrats not trying to take advantage of this somehow to further go after Trump and ostracize his supporters both inside the government and out.
