The time has come to strike back against mayors and governors helping illegals remain in this country.
To that point, the Trump administration has ordered the dispatch of 100 Customs and Border Protection (CPB) officers to help ICE do battle in sanctuary cities throughout the country.
The SWAT of CBP
The officers being sent are not your run-of-the-mill CPB officers, either, at least some of them.
While CBP is pulling officers from throughout the agency, it is also reassigning some of its best and brightest to this new task force.
These are some of the most highly skilled officers in the agency and part of the BORTAC team, which the New York Times described as the SWAT of the CBP.
Generally, these officers would be deployed in specialty cased where very dangerous criminal illegal immigrants would be targeted.
The move makes sense, especially since ICE generally targets illegals with criminal records.
This was done because of the significant increase last year in illegal crossings.
According to reports, there was an increase of more than 500,000 undetained cases in 2019 compared to 2018.
On Friday, the CBP stated, “With 5,300 [Enforcement and Removal Operations] law enforcement officers – some of whom were detailed to the border – ICE does not have sufficient resources to effectively manage the sustained increase in non-detained cases which is exacerbated by the rise of sanctuary jurisdictions.”
Dems Already Pushing Back
The response by Democrats has been typical.
Some are saying the Trump administration is using Gestapo-like tactics against its own citizens, but they seem to forget that illegals are not citizens of this country.
Others have sent out messages to these criminals to assure them they will do everything to protect them…

This will not deter this administration from doing the right thing, however.
During his State of the Union speech, Trump had one of his most epic lines of all time stating that America should be a sanctuary for its citizens, NOT illegal immigrants.
No matter how much the liberal horde fights against him, I have no doubt Trump will continue this fight to remove illegal immigrants from our soil and support LEGAL immigration.
