Earlier this week, Rep. Tlaib had her crocodile tears flowing over the fact Israel denier her entry into the country.
President Trump was not buying it, claiming Tlaib was doing nothing more than grandstanding for the media.
Reps. Omar and Tlaib had planned on taking a trip to Israel this month.
When Israel officials saw their agenda as well as Trump’s criticism of their attacks against Israel, they were barred from entering the country.
Omar and Tlaib, as well as several other members of their planned travel party, held a press conference to blast Israel for not allowing them to enter the country.
During her part of the press conference. Tlaib turned on the waterworks in an effort to have viewers empathize with her situation.
While feigning emotion, she stated, “As a young girl visiting Palestine to see my grandparents and extended family I watched as my mother had to go through dehumanizing checkpoints, even though she was a United States citizen and proud American.”
What Tlaib did not say was that Israel had granted her an exception, so she could have gone to see her grandmother.
However, there were restrictions in that she could not spew any anti-Israel rhetoric, which she considered to be oppressive, so she turned down Israel’s offer, proving to everyone that the trip was nothing more than a smokescreen so she and Omar could make another anti-Israel political statement.
Trump Calls Her Out
President Trump has never had a problem with offending anyone or a calling it as he sees it, and he was not about to stop now.
Trump stated, “She grandstanded and she didn’t want to do it.”
“You should see the things the four of them have said about Israel over the last couple of years.”
As I stated yesterday, this entire situation was both a setup and win/win for Omar and Tlaib from the get-go.
Had they been permitted to go to Israel, and as Trump stated, it would have been “a propaganda tour against Israel.”
Since they were denied, they get to rail against both Trump and Israel and have the media eat it up.
