The only thing surprising about Trump ripping Pelosi is the fact it took him so long to do it.
For days now, Pelosi’s comment about wanting Trump to go to prison has been circulating and the President finally responded:
“I actually don’t think she’s a talented person.
“I’ve tried to be nice to her because I would’ve liked to have gotten some deals done.
“She’s incapable of doing deals.
“She’s a nasty, vindictive, horrible person.”
It Took Long Enough
Out of all the top-ranking Democrats, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has been his most vocal and harshest critic.
Through it all, though, Trump has been relatively tame in saying anything negative about her.
He was doing so in an effort to keep the lines of communication open in the hopes of getting some bipartisan legislation passed, but that seems to have gone out the window now.
Quite frankly, considering his penchant for nicknames and outbursts on Twitter, it was really surprising to see him lay back.
When Nancy Pelosi said she wanted to send him to prison, I thought he would immediately lash out at her, but he let it sit for a few days before commenting.
Then, he sat down with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and really let her have it…
Honestly, this was better than any Twitter rant or any immediate emotional response would have been.
He was calm, cool, collected, as well as having let the media itself digest what Pelosi said.
Point being, Trump was not the first one to call her out over her comments, as the media has been ripping her apart for days now.
Instead of setting the tone, Trump is merely in agreement with even the liberal media on this one.
Time for Pelosi to Go
Pelosi is losing her grip, that is fairly obvious.
Not to beat a dead horse, but the fact the Mueller report came away empty has the entire party scrambling for a way to unseat Trump.
Everyone knows the impeachment angle is nothing more than smoke, simply because they don’t have a case and they don’t have the numbers, even within their own party, to impeach Trump.
This is the most powerful Democrat in office right now and she has become unhinged.
Democrats are the only ones that can right this ship for now and they need to either rein her in or oust her from her role as Speaker.
Then, California Democrats need to take a serious look inside to decide if this is the woman they want representing them in the future.
