If you followed Donald Trump at all before he became president, you would know he is a very generous man.
He would sometimes see a news story or a story on a talk show that struck his heart and simply write out a check to solve their problems.
This is not the Donald Trump the media wants anyone to see, so Trump’s latest offer will undoubtedly be portrayed as some type of campaign stunt by Democrats but I assure you, that was not the case.
I’ll Pay
This week, Trump hosted the family of murdered Ft. Hood soldier Vanessa Guillen at the White House.
Guillen’s family reportedly refused a traditional military funeral, so they will have to pick up the tab unless some type of financial exception is made.
Trump was unsure of the family’s financial situation, so he offered to help them out with costs out of his pocket.
He stated, “I don’t even know if you need help, maybe you don’t need help from a financial standpoint.
“I have no idea.
“I just think it’s a horrific thing that happened and if you did need help, I’ll be there to help you.”
It is a fairly safe bet that video will not be up on left-leaning mainstream media websites or even discussed in any other way than to accuse Trump of exploiting this family.
