Trump Responds to Brutal Murders of Americans in Mexico

On Monday, at least nine Americans were brutally murdered in Mexico, allegedly by the Mexican Cartel, and Trump is demanding action.

When the murders became public knowledge, Trump demanded Mexico “wage war” against the Cartel as well as offering U.S. assistance in such a war.

The Brutal Murders

The details of the massacre are horrific.

The group, which was part of a Mormon group that settled in northern Mexico, were slaughtered by the Cartel.

They were traveling in a convoy of three SUVs when the gunmen attacked.

According to reports, the Cartel gunman mistook the vehicles for those of a rival gang.

How they could make that mistake when the vehicles were packed with children is beyond me, though.

The first vehicle found by authorities was burned-out on the road and contained five people.

A second vehicle was found about 11 miles further down the road, and it contained a dead woman and two dead children.

The third vehicle was close by, also containing the body of a dead woman.

In all, six children and three adults were murdered.

The children that were murdered ranged in ages from eight months to 12 years old.

Several other family members are believed to be missing and kidnapped by the Cartel.

Trump Declares War

When Trump was informed of the massacre, he immediately called on Mexico to fight back.

Trump also offered the assistance of the American government to fight these monsters…

Mexico, of course, declined Trump’s offer.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador stated, “We declared war, and it didn’t work.

“That is not an option.”

The fact of the matter is, whether or not people want to admit, that the Cartel runs Mexico.

Reporters don’t write negative stories about them for fear of being killed and politicians don’t oppose them for the same reason.

This is something that has been widely ignored, even here in the United States.

Newt Gingrich addressed this very subject, stating, “The cartels have grown richer, stronger, bigger.

“They are a direct threat to the Mexican government.

“Much more than the attention we’ve paid to Syria or Iraq or Afghanistan.”

He added, “Mexico is a vital American interest. And, our desire to make sure the Mexican government defeats the cartels, should be enormous.

“And, I hope this will be a wake-up call — that we had better find a way to have a partnership with the Mexican government and help them with whatever intelligence training equipment they need to decisively defeat the cartels who are now, frankly, a state within a state.”

He is right, of course, but sadly, the Mexicans don’t want our help on this front.
