All the Trump haters that were in this administration are starting to come out from under their rocks now that Joe Biden has been designated as the president-elect by the media and GSA.
The latest to peep out is James Mattis, the former Secretary of Defense.
Let’s Go with America Last
When you have a country with exploding crime rates in big cities, massive trade deficits, high unemployment, a declining military, and massive national debt, commonsense says you need to dial it back and take care of number one to right the ship.
That is exactly what Trump did with his America First agenda.
That is something you would think a military man like Mattis would get behind, but he and Trump were never really on the same page.
Now that Biden has been declared the president-elect, Mattis unleashed about America First.
He stated, “The United States today is undermining the foundations of an international order manifestly advantageous to U.S. interests, reflecting a basic ignorance of the extent to which both robust alliances and international institutions provide vital strategic depth. In practice, ‘America first’ has meant ‘America alone.’ That has damaged the country’s ability to address problems before they reach U.S. territory and has thus compounded the danger emergent threats pose.”
The article continued, “In January, when President Joe Biden and his national security team begin to reevaluate U.S. foreign policy, we hope they will quickly revise the national security strategy to eliminate ‘America first’ from its contents, restoring in its place the commitment to cooperative security that has served the United States so well for decades. The best strategy for ensuring safety and prosperity is to buttress American military strength with enhanced civilian tools and a restored network of solid alliances—both necessary to achieving defense in depth. The pandemic should serve as a reminder of what grief ensues when we wait for problems to come to us.”
Trump, of course, did not let that go without response…

So, my fellow patriots, expect America to go back to being the doormat of the world again very soon.
The only question now is if Joe Biden’s apology tour will be bigger than the one Obama had when he took over as president.
