Well, Trump is back in the spotlight and he is not holding back.
After Dr. Fauci went political and Dr. Birx cowered to the left, they have now both become fair game for Trump.
During a recent Fox News interview, Trump held nothing back regarding the failures of both during the early stages of the pandemic.
Lots of Mistakes
When Trump was in office, he did something that is rarely done these days… he held officials accountable.
This included calling out Dr. Fauci for his many mistakes in real-time as well as holding Fauci accountable for statements he had made very early on, many of which were wrong.
On both Fauci and Birx, Trump stated, “So when you go to the Covid issue, we did a great job.
“We get very little credit for it. I closed the country far earlier.
“Dr. Fauci and Birx and all of these people that, frankly, made nothing but mistakes, they didn’t want to do it.
“They didn’t want to close it to China.
“I closed the border to China. I closed the border to Europe, Italy, and all of these countries that were having tremendous problems long before they wanted me to do it.”
Trump then added Biden to the mix, stating, “If you look at Biden, he didn’t want to do it months afterwards, and then ultimately he admitted that he made a mistake in saying that.
“If I didn’t do that, we would have had hundreds of thousands of more lives gone.”
Trust me, with everything that has been breaking lately, Trump will be more energized than ever in terms of unleashing these attacks.
The errors by Fauci and Birx, the Washington Post correction… this is only the beginning.
