Trump Tears into Beto O’Rourke After Being Told to ‘Stay Out’ of El Paso

Let me say right out of the gate, the media is going to kill Trump on this, but I actually agree with him finally standing up against this rhetoric spewing moron.

After several days of O’Rourke calling Trump a racist and telling him to stay out of El Paso, Trump ripped him on Twitter, following it up by telling O’Rourke to “be quiet.”

It’s About Time

We have to believe  Trump was initially giving O’Rourke some space to grieve.

He, along with the most of the other Dems, are blaming Trump for the shooting, which as we all know is complete nonsense.

Once the rhetoric continued for several days, though, it was obviously starting to bother Trump.

Now that the entire mainstream media, except for Fox News, is blaming Trump for the shootings, it was time for Trump to fire back and answer what Dems have been saying.

While Dems have been non-stop attacking Trump since Saturday, Trump sticking up for himself is going to be portrayed by the media as a president that has no sense of trying to heal a nation.

However, that is what Trump was trying to do.

He held a press conference, he said all the right things (amid the hateful comments), he is headed to these communities knowing there may be hostile parties there to protest him, yet he is standing tall to face the music, console families, and meet with the brave law enforcement members that stopped these shooters.

IMO, there simply is nothing more you could ask from a president at a time such at this.

The Beto Response

In some sick way, this is probably exactly what O’Rourke wanted to have happen, though.

He knew if he kept his attacks up, Trump would be forced to respond at some point, and probably in a hostile manner.

When Trump did, Beto was ready to once again put the blame of the shooting on Trump and accuse him of being a racist… again.

On one hand, I wish Trump would have been able to bite the bullet and just let this go.

I think he would have been much better served to hit Beto on this down the road for making the shootings political rather than simply offering to help the community heal.

On the other hand, I am glad he went after Beto because someone needed to shut him up.

O’Rourke has politicized this shooting from the start, stumping mere hours after the shooting took place, with bodies still on the ground and families still wondering if their loved ones were safe or had fell victim to this horrific monster.

Today, Trump will go to both Dayton and El Paso. He will grieve with the victims’ families, he will thank law enforcement, and he will take it on the chin from those that want to attack him for these shootings.

He will stand tall, which is far more than we can say about Beto O’Rourke and the Democrat party.
