It has been an up and down month for the Trump administration on immigration.
However, earlier today, a federal appeals court handed the Trump administration a significant victory in regard to immigrants requesting asylum.
The Ruling
Last month, a federal judge in California blocked the Trump administration’s policy of requiring immigrants to request asylum before entering the country.
The policy was put in place because of the massive influx of immigrants crossing the border illegally only to request asylum.
Our border detention facilities were being overrun, so this policy was put in place as a way to alleviate some of the pressure on these detention centers and Border Patrol staff.
When the initial ruling was passed, it seemed as though this was more political bias in the judiciary preventing this administration from doing its job.
In the latest ruling, another California judge ruled the first judge was overreaching in the injunction ruling.
The ruling stated, “The district court clearly erred by failing to consider whether nationwide relief is necessary to remedy Plaintiffs’ alleged harms.
“And, based on the limited record before us, we do not believe a nationwide injunction is justified.”
Both sides will now be able to present their arguments on October 1.
Dems Battling for Illegals
This case is but one legal battle this administration is facing in the Democrat effort to have this country overrun with illegals.
As an example, look at the legal battle after the Trump administration announced a “safe third country” deal it had worked out with Guatemala.
The deal required immigrants using Guatemala as a path to the United States to apply for asylum there and remain there while their case was being processed.
Democrats immediately filed suit against the measure.
This is something Americans better wake up to because if this issue is not controlled and Democrats win the White House, we are going to have a major influx of illegals suddenly becoming legal.
Joe Biden, the front-runner Democrat, stated if he won, he thinks we could immediately absorb two million more immigrants as well as offering amnesty and a path to citizenship for every illegal in the country right now.
This would be an absolute assault on middle-class America, something we simply cannot allow to happen.
