With every passing second, Democrats are looking more and more foolish over this Ukraine scandal.
As it so happens, Ukraine’s new president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is visiting with Trump in D.C.
President Zelensky held nothing back about the controversial call, stating, “Nobody pushed me.”
He, of course, was referring to Trump asking about investigating the actions of then-VP Joe Biden.
Backing Trump’s Version
To hear Democrats, Trump had turned into a member of La Cosa Nostra to hold Zelensky over a barrel to get the aid promised.
That, however, is not how Zelensky remembered the phone call.
He stated, “We had a great phone call. It was normal.”
Trump then added, “In other words, there was no pressure and you [the media] know there was no pressure.”
Oddly, though, this story is not being reported at all in the mainstream media.
If you do a quick Google search right now, Fox News is the only outlet touting Ukraine’s president backed up Trumps’ story.
Let’s Be Realistic…
The thing that is most annoying about the latest Democrat allegations is that they are acting as though this is not something that happens in D.C. on a regular basis.
Politicians exchange favors for votes every day.
In fact, this entire “scandal” is originating from Biden’s acknowledged quid pro quo with the Ukraine when he held a billion-dollar aid check in his hands.
Biden tells the story proudly how he told Ukrainian leadership they would not get the check unless they fired a specific prosecutor.
Biden, of course, leaves out the fact this prosecutor was investigating his son’s company, a son that was raking in more than $50k a month and working on a billion-dollar deal for his company.
As we have documented before, the prosecutor was almost immediately fired, Ukraine got its check, and Biden’s son’s deal went through.
And that is just one example.
How many times do you think Adam Schiff has done favors for other politicians that backed one his policies? How much money has Schiff taken from donors who benefited from legislation either proposed or backed by Schiff?
Obama himself was once caught on a hot mic with the Russians promising he could do more once he was re-elected.
The fact is Democrats are making a monumental hill out of absolutely nothing here. All they are really doing is wasting our time and our money in a last-minute effort to derail Trump in the 2020 election.
