Since Day 1, Democrats have been pitching the narrative that Trump is against all immigration.
Well, Democrats took a shot right on the chin after the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released the immigration numbers for 2018.
In 2018, USCIS swore in almost 757,000 people while also processing 850,000 naturalization forms, the highest total in five years.
Just Do It Legally
Trump, not once, has ever stated that he wanted to halt immigration to this country.
What he has said, time and time again, is that people must follow the laws.
His words get twisted so often and so much, people now actually believe Trump is against immigration overall.
If that were true, immigration numbers would be going down, not up.
USCIS Director L. Francis Cissna stated, “In the last fiscal year, USCIS adjudicated more than eight million requests for immigration benefits, which is a 28 percent increase over the last five fiscal years.
“USCIS also helped make the American dream become a reality for 757,000 new citizens, a five-year high in new oaths of citizenship. “
So, as it turns out, Trump is actually a friendlier president to LEGAL immigrants than Barack Obama.
Every time Trump opens his mouth about illegal immigration, Democrats quote him, carefully omitting the word “illegal.”
The fact is, the situation at the border is horrendous because of Democrat gamesmanship.
Trump stated, “We have a court system that is – has 900,000 cases behind it.
“In other words, they have a court which needs to hear 900,000 cases. How ridiculous is that?
Trump also stated, “Democrats are proposing open borders, lower wages, and frankly, lawless chaos.
“We are proposing an immigration plan that puts jobs, wages, and safety of American workers first.
“Our plan is pro-American, pro-immigrant, and pro-worker. It’s just common sense.”
Honestly, it does not matter what Trump says anymore, because Democrats are going to find fault with it.
When you look at the facts, however, Americans can see the truth.
