Warren Joins Call for Impeachment of Trump

The calls for Trump’s impeachment are growing louder, and now the first presidential candidate has joined the cause.

Elizabeth Warren, after the release of the Mueller report, is recommending the House move forward with impeachment articles against Donald Trump.

Joining the New Breed

This was a very strategic announcement by Senator Warren.

It was only a matter of days ago when Rep. Tlaib (D-MIch) made somewhat racist accusations against Democrat leadership.

In her statement, Rep. Tlaib stated that while the Democrat party touts its diversity, party leadership tends to ignore everything this new breed of Democrat bring to the table.

She pointed to the lack of support for her impeachment papers as well as Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) Green New Deal.

Warren, by calling for the impeachment of Trump, is likely hoping to gain the support of the new breed as well as their constituents come primary day.

Senator Warren stated, “Congress has the authority to prohibit a president’s corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice.

“The correct process for exercising that authority is impeachment.”

Now that Warren has come forward, we can also expect most of the other candidates to get on board as well strictly out of fear of giving Warren an edge.

Not Warren’s Central Issue

While Warren has endorsed the impeachment of Trump, she is adamant this will not be the center point of her campaign.

By and large, Americans seem to be sick and tired of hearing about this and they surely will not elect a candidate that is using that as a centerpiece to his or her campaign.

In Warren’s case, she said she plans to focus on fixing a “broken” Washington if elected.

Oddly enough, though, it is Warren’s own party that is responsible for the breaking of our political system.

Republicans are not without their fair share of the blame, but Democrats have taken the insanity of D.C. to new levels since Trump won the election.
