Week of Biden Blunders Shows in Slipping Poll Numbers

Presidential candidate Joe Biden had what seemed to be an insurmountable lead only a week ago.

However, after some bad decisions and a triple-flip on the Hyde Amendment, Biden’s lead has shrunk to single digits in the latest Iowa poll numbers.

People Are Noticing

Joe Biden was cruising along rather nicely there for a while.

However, the last week or so has proven to be quite challenging for the twice-failed presidential candidate.

It all started back in early May when he made a comment about the Hyde Amendment that almost went unnoticed.

After several alt-media outlets reported he had suddenly flipped his stance after decades of supporting the amendment, the mainstream media called him out on it, and everything started to go south for Biden.

While Biden was in the process of doing his Hyde Amendment triple-flip, video of him doing his Uncle Joe routine with a 10-year-old girl was also making its way around the internet.

Biden has been trying to sell himself as the new and improved Joe, but these blunders just showed it was the same old Joe that had been in office for decades and accomplished nothing but lining his pockets from donors.

Voters are apparently noticing too, at least in Iowa, because Biden’s insurmountable lead is now very much in range of several candidates.

The New Numbers

The interesting thing about the Iowa numbers is not just that Biden is slipping but also the fact his supporters seem to be going to everyone but Bernie Sanders.

The last polls we saw had Biden around 32-34 percent, Bernie around 16 percent, and everyone else at five percent or less.

Now, Biden is down to 24 percent, Bernie is holding steady at 16 percent, and Warren has improved dramatically, rising all the way up to 15 percent.

Right behind Warren is Pete Buttigieg at 14 percent, then there is a noticeable drop off to seven percent for Harris and two percent each for O’Rourke and Klobuchar.

The rest of the candidates in the race are fighting over the remaining crumbs.

What once appeared to be a two-man race is now clearly at least a four-person race.

What may be even more shocking than the numbers, though, is the fact the three early darlings of the media, (Beto O’Rourke, Kamala Harris, and Corey Booker), are no longer even factors in this race.
