White House Insiders Blame Trump’s Decline on Son-in-Law Jared Kushner

We are now at a point where the finger-pointing will start to try to figure out where the Trump campaign has gone wrong and how to fix it before it is too late.

Ironically, the one individual White House insiders are pointing to as the major problem is also the person currently revamping the campaign… Jared Kushner.

I’m on This Train

I have to admit, I am very much on this train and would even start to point in the direction of Ivanka Trump a little bit.

While I like and support Ivanka Trump’s efforts, her liberal lean has definitely impacted this presidency, and possibly not for the better.

It is no real secret that Ivanka and Jared were behind the push for prison reform.

There are some aspects of that legislation that did not sit well with conservatives, possibly losing some excitement in re-electing Trump.

Now, I know Trump did this because he was trying to expand his base, but it may have cost him some votes.

Both Kushner and Ivanka have tried to constantly integrate some liberal policymaking into Trump’s agenda, but the two just don’t work very well together in today’s political environment.

If I am being honest, some of the policies these two have been behind have made Trump look week to some of his followers, and now they have just seemingly lost interest.

The Jared Problem

After the Tulsa rally, everyone knew there was going to be a shakeup, with many expecting campaign manager Brad Parscale to be fired.

Not only is Parscale still in place but Kushner is now reportedly the man everyone has to report to as the campaign moves forward.

Kushner, however, is not a favorite for GOP donors and activists, with him often being described as a “moron,” “slow,” and “not very bright.”

One activist that is working with the Trump campaign stated, “Trump has a Jared problem.”

“Jared is a total f–k-up. Everything he touches turns to lead.”

These rumors about Jared have been going around since virtually Trump’s first day in office.

The problem, though, is that the President adores his daughter and Jared being her husband, it is rather unlikely his role will be diminished regardless of how frustrated Trump is getting with him (and there are plenty of reports that Trump has gone off on Jared).

This is exactly why I am not a big supporter of having family members in these roles; it complicates matters far more than they need to be and in this case, it is clearly hurting Trump’s chances of being re-elected.
