Democrats and James Comey just got some very upsetting news.
While testifying before the Senate Appropriations Committee, FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed he is investigating the origins of the Russia probe.
We Want the Truth
After two years and more than $30 million in expenses, we found out an investigation the Democrats were predicting would end Trump was nothing but a waste of time.
The report itself created more questions than it answered.
For instance, if the Steele dossier had been debunked, why was it used to secure FISA warrants?
If the witnesses used to incriminate Trump were charged with lying to Mueller, why were only their statements incriminating Trump taken as fact?
If there was no evidence against Trump, then why did it take two years to release the report?
Americans want answers and the new regime in the Justice Department is going to provide them one way or the other.
Investigating the Investigation
While testifying before the Senate, FBI Director Wray stated, “The special counsel’s report goes through a fair amount of detail about the predication for this investigation.
“Beyond that, as I mentioned to the chairman, I have a had a number of conversations and am working to help the attorney general get to the bottom of an understanding of what the circumstances surrounding the initiation of that investigation were at the department and the FBI back in 2016.”
That sound you just heard was the butt cheeks of James Comey puckering because he knows his world is about to dramatically change.
Comey has already gone on the offensive, releasing scathing op-eds about Trump and attacking Barr in the media.
By all accounts, there was more than enough inappropriate behavior by Comey and his henchman during this investigation to put him in a very bad spot on The Hill.
At the very least, there should be some type of public reprimand against Comey for his actions.
If that happens, it is going to blow the lid off this narrative by Democrats.
Just imagine a report that blasts Comey for starting an investigation on false pretenses AND a Mueller report that exonerates Trump on collusion.
If that is not Christmas in the spring, I don’t know what is.
