The more Barr speaks about the investigation of the origins of the Russia probe, the more nervous former FBI Director James Comey gets.
Late Friday night, maybe after one too many cocktails at happy hour, James Comey went on a Twitter rage, accusing Barr of “sliming down his own department.”

James Comey is clearly starting to feel the pressure of the new investigation being conducted by U.S. Attorney Durham.
Comey is acting like a man with something to hide and everyone knows it.
He, like several liberal pundits, believes Barr investigating the origins of an investigation that took two years and wasted more than $30 million of taxpayer money is nothing more than protecting Trump.
It is quite the opposite, though.
If bogus allegations were made and pursued by some of the highest-ranking members of our government and Justice Department, does that not deserve to be investigated?
If people were abusing their power in an effort to take down a president of the United States, shouldn’t the people of this country know about it?
Comey tells Barr that he must “act like a leader,” which is exactly what Barr is doing.
The AG should stop sliming his own Department. If there are bad facts, show us, or search for them professionally and then tell us what you found. An AG must act like the leader of the Department of Justice, an organization based on truth. Donald Trump has enough spokespeople.

If people want to purposely misconstrue that to paint a picture of Barr protecting Trump, so be it.
Can’t Hide It Forever
While Democrats were hoping the Mueller report would be the smoking gun to take out Trump, it turned out to be the complete opposite.
For one, we now know the Steele dossier was definitely used during the investigation as a key component to secure FISA warrants.
By all signs, James Comey also apparently took it upon himself to use the Steele dossier, according to John Brennan.
Going back to the Hillary investigation, we know Comey did not consult with prosecuting attorneys working the case or the Attorney General before exonerating Hillary of any wrongdoing.
Now, if that does not sound like a man that was abusing his power for the purpose of promoting a political agenda, I don’t know what is.
Comey thought he was smarter than everyone else and could get away with it all, but he is wrong.
Now that the walls are closing in and he knows everything he did is going to be completely exposed, he has officially hit the panic button.
I, for one, am going to thoroughly enjoy watching him squirm over the next weeks or months while this investigation takes place.
