Rep. Omar’s Nasty Tweet About ‘Black Hawk Down’ Mission Resurfaces

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn) social media manager should be fired.

How a tweet about the “Black Hawk Down” mission remained on her timeline is baffling, but it may be the tweet that pushes people over the edge on Rep. Omar.

The Tweet

In Oct 2017, then-Senator Al Franken sent out a tweet about the devastation of an attack in Somalia.

Someone responded to Franken’s tweet and reminded him of the Battle of Mogadishu, were 19 Americans lost their lives and 73 more were wounded.

Rep. Omar decided to join the conversation by hinting American forces were Satan and “thousands” of Somalis were killed by American forces…

Setting the Record Straight

First and foremost, Omar’s description of how many Somalis were killed that day is grossly exaggerated.

The Somali National Alliance stated 133 militiamen were killed.

Mark Bowden, the author of “Black Hawk Down: A Story of Modern War” estimated the death toll at more than 500.

Regardless, even the worst-case scenario puts the numbers at far less than Omar stated.

Omar also seems to forget civilians turned on the military and gave them no choice but to defend themselves.

Furthermore, her hashtag of #NotTodaySatan has to be reflective of either the U.S. military or the United States itself.

Either way, this is clearly not a woman that should be serving within the government.

Minnesota voters made a HUGE mistake when they elected Ilhan Omar to be their congressional representative.

Her anger towards the Jews has already been documented and now we have proof she hates America and its military as well.

Omar should be expelled, but if that doesn’t happen, We the People must ensure she is voted out of office come election day.
