Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn) has continued to make controversial remarks about Israel and Vice President Mike Pence has seen and heard enough.
Earlier today, Mike Pence stated, “Ilhan Omar has made statements, anti-Semitic comments, statements against our most cherished ally, Israel, that ought to be rejected by every American.
“And frankly, the fact that very recently she has been trying to blame the United States of America for the deprivation and poverty brought on by the dictatorship in Venezuela. …Congresswoman Omar has no place on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Democratic leadership out to remove her.”
Omar Must Go
In order to be on a congressional committee, one should have some basic knowledge of the affairs of said committee.
Since Omar has been in office she has proved to be completely ignorant of our foreign affairs.
She has made several comments in the media regarding foreign affairs and has been completely wrong on the facts virtually every time.
Does she really deserve to learn the ropes by sitting on the House Foreign Affairs Committee?
Should she not already be apprised of our policies and history before being given a vote on this committee?
Instead, the Democrats wanted to look diverse and politically correct, so they could not wait to put Omar and the rest of the New Breed on these committees even though they have done nothing to prove they earned or deserved these seats.
Get It Right This Time
Minnesota voters clearly got it wrong during the mid-term elections, something VP Mike Pence hopes they correct in 2020.
Pence stated, “The people of Minnesota will decide whether or not she remains in Congress.”
Considering Omar represents one of the deepest Muslim populations in the state, her re-election should have been a slam dunk, but that may no longer be the case.
She has proven to be so radical, local community leaders have even started to voice their concern over Omar’s anti-Semitic statements.
There are people in her community looking to be accepted in this country, but Omar’s comments and behavior are only drawing more criticism to the Minnesota Muslim community.
If they are smart, they will find someone else to represent them that is truly patriotic and loves America, both characteristics of which Omar is severely lacking.
