Rep. Tlaib Slams Pelosi – Veiled Accusations of Racism in Democrat Leadership

In the first 100 days of the new House, the only thing that has come from Pelosi’s leadership is discontent and chaos in her party.

While the Dems have failed to pass anything meaningful while controlling the House, leadership has managed to upset the new breed, specifically the Big 3 freshmen.

One of the more damaging statements made about party leadership came from Rep. Tlaib (D-Mich), who made a recent statement hinting of racism and bias in the party against the very representatives they tout for diversity.

Veiled Racism

The Democrat party loves to tout how much more diverse it is than the Republican party.

They parade minorities and women around every chance they get.

However, according to Tlaib, that is about as far as it goes.

Sitting at the Children’s Table

While leadership thinks the new freshman class, specifically Rep.’s Tlaib, Omar, and Ocasio-Cortez, make for great photo shoots, they really don’t support the candidates when it comes to their legislative proposals.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s Greed New Deal was proof of that.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) never supported the legislation in the House and never even put it on the floor for a debate or vote.

Senator Weinstein (D-CA) also backed away from the legislation.

As a matter of fact, when it was put up for a vote in the Senate, it failed to garner even a single vote.

Now, Rep. Tlaib has introduced impeachment papers against Trump and once again, the old guard of the party has snubbed her.

In essence, Democrat leadership is telling the new breed to look pretty for the cameras but please, leave the real politicking to the adults.

This rift has already started to create controversy in the party, as AOC has gone against leadership several times and appears to be going against the party line if and when Biden announces.

AOC is on record as saying a Biden nomination would be like going back in time, and she wants the party to move forward.

This is an ideal situation for Republicans, as this feeling of neglect is only going to fester with the new breed and become a major issue during the 2020 elections.

These new freshmen need to take something to their constituents to show they accomplished something during their two years in office.

If not, they may all end up being one-hit wonders.

Additionally, it will give Trump and Republicans plenty of ammo to take them down both in 2020 and the next mid-term elections in 2022.
