After getting hammered by Democrats over his attacks against Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), President Trump hit him again.
Saturday afternoon, Trump sent out several more tweets featuring video of the horrific conditions in Maryland’s 7th District…

Defending Cummings
Of course, Democrats across the entire spectrum flocked to the defense of Cummings.
Nancy Pelosi said the attacks were racist.
Baltimore leadership came out in droves to call Cummings a local hero and a “champion in Congress.”
Bernie Sanders chimed in, touting Cummings’ record on the Oversight and Reform Committee…

Squad member Rashida Tlaib took the opportunity to hit Trump again as well…
Someone take away his phone. He has failed as a President and he is blaming everyone, but his incompetent self. He is in the most powerful position in the *world* and yet he has no policy agenda for the people.

None of that matters as much as the opinion of the actual residents in his district, though, and that feedback was not good.
Telling the Truth
Videos of the conditions of Cummings’ district started to flood the internet and it did not paint a good picture for Cummings.
Trump shared a video that was sent to him of one of the many abandoned homes in the area…

Now, tell me, how is Cummings doing right by his constituents?
When Bernie Sanders toured the area in 2015, he likened it to a Third-World Country and nobody ever said a negative word about his comments.
Cummings is typical of what we have in Washington D.C. these days.
He has been in office for more than two decades, amassed a personal fortune, and watched his district go to ruins.
Trump wasn’t racist in pointing that out… he was just honest.
